Pre-printed leaflets and brochures can be inserted into the Dziennik Polski

  • All insert are subject to approval prior to booking and a minimum of 100 samples are required.
  • All deliveries must be as per our delivery and presentation specification.
  • Loose inserts must be supplied with a 1% over allowance.
I. RATE CARD
  • The insert are charge in pounds sterling per 1000 copies against the total quantity distributed nationwide.
  • Insert’s rates are quoted exclusive of VAT. Any Value Added Tax due on and Insertion Service will be separately shown on the invoice (15%).
  • The minimum quantity is 10 000 copies.

II. DEADLINES

  • Booking should be submitted via email or fax no later than 14 days before insertion date.
  • Minimum of 100 samples should be sent to the printer prior the booking.

IV. DELIVERY STANDARDS
  1. Inserts must be delivered to the Printer no more than 6 days but no less than 2 days prior to the insertion date.

  2. Deliveries will only be accepted Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:00 to 17:00.
  3. Goods can only be checked in by recognized printer’s personnel, as shortages or damaged copy, cannot be accounted for later. In all cases the suppliers of all insert material are required to book in deliveries at least 48 hours prior to the arrival of the goods with the following information:
    – Name of Insert
    – Code Name of Number
    – Publication for Insertion
    – Issue Date
    – Quantity to Be Delivered
    – Number of Pallets
  4. On receiving this information, The Printer will issue a delivery number. Quoting this number to the Gatehouse will give the transporter access to the site. The Printer will not allow access, without this number.
  5. Delivery advice notes must accompany all deliveries and include the same information provided when booking in the insert

V. PRESENTATION OF INSERTS
  1. Inserts must be presented in turns no smaller than 50 copies or 70mm in size but no greater than 120 mm
  2. Inserts should be delivered on solid open ended non returnable pallets 1200mm x 1000mm in size for handling by for lift truck.
  3. All pallets should have wooden top boards the same size at the base and measure no more than 1050mm in height.
  4. Decks must be covered with a solid base before loading to prevent damage to the bottom layer of inserts.
  5. Interleaves should be placed between each layer to aid stability and to prevent damage to the bottom layer of inserts.
  6. Pallets should have full length corner protectors to prevent damage to products when pallets are shrink-wrapped.
  7. Pallets should be wrapped with film to prevent penetration of moisture.
  8. Inserts should be stacked flush to the pallets edges. Inserts protruding from the sides will be creased or curled by the shrink-wrap. Similarly inserts not stacked to the pallet edge will cause pallets to be unstable and loads to become distorted during transportation.
  9. Pallets should be banded both ways with four plastic straps to secure the whole load, protect against movement during transit and facilitate two high stacking.
  10. Inserts which may vary in size or codes which require separating should not be presented on the same pallet and must conform to the insert specification.
  11. Inserts should be bundled and stacked in a manner which enables the operators to take them from the pallets without having to unwrap each bundle or redress small turns.
  12. Individual bundles must not be shrink-wrapped.
  13. If inserts are unable to be bulk stacked due to shape or size, then they should be suitably packed in easy to open cartons before palletizing.
  14. Delivery note and pallet labels (on two separate sides) must contain the following information:
    – Name of Insert
    – Code Name or Number
    – Publication for Insertion
    – Issue Date
    – Distribution Area
    – Description of Insert (E.G. 2pp Leaflet, or 6pp Catalogue)
    – Total Quantity
    – Number of Inserts on Each Pallet
    – Total number of Pallets, and individual pallet number i.e. Pallet 1 of 3
  15. Inserts that are damp or have damaged corners/edges may be rejected.
  16. Inserts or pallets arriving on site that are damaged or are in a state that requires extra handling could cause rejection or attract additional cost for re-turning / packaging.
