The Polish Daily (Publishers) Ltd, the publisher of “Tydzien Polski” provides service in placing dimensional ads, lineage, obituaries and inserts in “Tydzien Polski”. We ensure that your satisfaction, expectations and need are our priorities. Any provisions and rules concerning the services of placing advertisements that we provide to you shall be interpreted with this declaration.

 

I. DEFINITIONS

Publisher – The Polish Daily (Publishers) Ltd with the registered office in London, 238-246 King Street, W6 0RF, VAT registration No. 226908451, belonging to The Polish Cultural Foundation with the registered office in London, 238-246 King Street, W6 0RF, Charity registration No. 277603;

Advertiser – a natural person, legal person or an organizational entity without legal personality, ordering a placement in Tydzien Polski of dimensional ads, lineage ads, obituaries and inserts;

Tydzien Polski – a Polish national weekly paper edited by the Publisher, entitled “Tydzien Polski” and Tydzien Polski on-line;

Dimensional advertisements – an advertisement place in print in a graphic form, the printed size of which is specified by the number of standard space units approved by the Publisher;

Lineage advertisement – an advertisement placed in print in the form of text with a possible standard graphic highlighting or in a graphic form, the printed size of which is specified by the number of standard space units (words) approved by the Publishers. The lineage ads are divided thematically into sections.

Obituary – a death notice placed in print in the form of text with possible standard graphic design, the printed size of which is specified by the number of words and line prepared by the Client.

Insert – an advertising material in the form of leaflet, brochure, catalogue inserted in “Tydzien Polski” and distributed with it.

 

II. PERFORMANCE CONDITIONS
  1. We will place the advertisement on the basis of an order submitted by the Client.
  2. The Advertisers are obligated to provide the following information:
    • Size of the advertisement
    • Quantity and required dates
    • Name and address of Advertiser
    • Name and the contact details of person ordering the advertisement
  3. The orders can by supplied by email: ads@tydzien.co.uk
  4. The quotation of advertisement, obituaries and inserts is prepared on the written request of the Client.

 

III. PAYMENT
  1. The Advertisers can pay for the ordered dimensional advertisement and inserts in the way agreed with the Advertising Department:
    • in advance – before the ad exposure
    • after the ad’s emission, on the basis of the invoice issued to the Advertiser
  2. The lineage ads are paid before emission.
  3. First-time advertisers must prepay before ad is placed.
  4. Ways of payment:
    • Debit card
    • Credit card
    • Cheque
    • BACS payment
    • Cash
  5. If the invoices are not paid on time The Publishers shall charge the statutory interest rate for delay or take further action. At the same time, in the case of payment delay, “Tydzien Polski” reserves the right to withhold the emission of advertisement. The date of payment is the date when the payment reaches the Publisher.

 

IV. GENERAL PROVISION
  1. The Publisher and the editor are not responsible for the content of the placed advertisements.
  2. The Publisher can refuse to place the advertisement or hold its placing, or demand that changes be made to it, whenever the content or the form of the advertisement is illegal, contrary to good practice, policy line or the nature of publication, or standards binding upon the Publisher.
  3. The Publisher can refuse to place the advertisement without stating reasons thereof.
  4. The Publisher can refuse to place the advertisement or hold its placing if we do not receive the payment for placing an advertisement.
  5. The Publishers have rights to the own graphic’s projects.
  6. The Publisher will not make changes in the ready material prepared by the Advertiser.
  7. The Advertiser has to ensure that he has the right to use the information, data, trademarks and any other elements protected by law and included in the advertisement.
  8. The obligation to redress any loss suffered by the Publisher due to the contents or form of advertisement (including the costs of the court proceedings or cost of other legal proceedings as well as other reasonable expenses incurred in connection with any claims of third parties) rests with the Advertiser.

 

V. CANCELATIONS
  1. The withdrawal of the order shall be made in writing.
  2. The withdrawal of the order shall not result in financial consequences on the part of the Advertiser, if the notification of order withdrawal is delivered to the Publisher two days before booking deadline.
  3. The withdrawal of order during the advertising campaign causes the loss all discounts.
  4. After the booking deadlines we will not accept the booking cancellation.

 

VI. COMPLAINTS
  1. If the Advertiser has any reservation as to the way and quality of the order completion, we ask for prompt contact with Advertising Department.
  2. If the order concerns periodical advertisements, please file a complaint on the day of the first questioned issue, which will allow for accommodation of changes in the following issues of the advertisements.
  3. The Publisher is not responsible for the printing quality.

 

Placing the order for advertisement in Tydzien Polski means acceptance of the General Principles by the Advertiser.
